At this point in time I'm not sure how/if the textures, meshes, or audio can be modded or swapped, but from my experience with Birth by Sleep, texture mods outside of PPSSPP texture-dump-replacements should be possible. Some models contain audio when scanned with PSound (Hyde Bohr's boss model has his fight quotes, for example). Not sure about the soldier or radio chatter names, either. I haven't checked for the cutscene subtitles yet, but all of the journal/notes are present, all of the soldier chatter, all of the monologs Aya has when inspecting things, and the radio text (ex. Custom-made prerendered cutscenes with audio are 100% possible, so long as the filesize is considered.Īll, or at least most, of the text in the game can be found in the "file0019.raw" file when opened with a hex editor. The cutscene subtitles seem to be outside of the pmf videos themselves, and will still show up as normal even if the pmf is changed. I tested this using a pmf video I made for Birth by Sleep, and the video and sound played as expected.
